What is a GPA Simulator?
A GPA Simulator lets you model your entire academic history across multiple semesters and instantly see how changing a grade in any course would affect your cumulative GPA — before the semester ends. Unlike a basic calculator, the Simulator remembers all your courses across sessions and lets you run unlimited "what-if" scenarios without losing your real data.
How is CGPA calculated?
CGPA (Cumulative GPA) is the credit-hour–weighted average of all grade points earned across every semester. Each letter grade converts to a point value (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, etc.) and is multiplied by the course's credit hours. The sum of all quality points is divided by the total credit hours completed.
What does the "Needed" column mean?
For each course, the Needed column shows the minimum letter grade you would have to earn in that course to push your overall CGPA to your target. It recalculates live as you adjust your goal or change other grades. "Impossible" means the target cannot be reached through that course alone given your other results. "Already met" means your current grades are already sufficient.
Is my data saved? Do I need an account?
No account is needed. All your course and semester data is saved automatically in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. You can also click Share result to generate a URL that encodes your full GPA scenario — paste it anywhere to restore or share your exact data.
Can I use this for CGPA systems other than 4.0?
